Lit App

Problem Statement

Lit App required a reliable mobile app with seamless event creation, interest matching, and real-time communication features to drive user engagement. Bugs in user flows, inconsistent UI across devices, unreliable notifications, or security vulnerabilities could disrupt the user experience and reduce trust in the platform. The QA process aimed to validate functionality, ensure cross-device performance, confirm security, and enhance stability to deliver a polished app for public launch.

Challenges

Lit App faced several challenges in preparing for its public launch. As a social networking platform built around real-world events and shared interests, the app needed to deliver seamless user flows across core features like profile creation, interest tagging, event management, and chat. However, potential issues such as bugs in event creation, inconsistent UI rendering across iOS and Android devices, and unreliable push notifications posed risks to user engagement. Performance under high loads, such as multiple simultaneous chat threads or large-scale event invitations, also needed validation. Without thorough QA, these gaps could have led to user frustration, reduced trust, and hindered adoption in a competitive social networking market.

1- Mobile Functional Testing
